Projects Supporting Economic Development in Indigenous Communities

Ging̱olx Enterprises Ltd. (GEL) delivers projects that contribute directly to economic development in Indigenous communities in the Nass Valley of Northwest British Columbia, with a focus on long-term infrastructure, employment opportunities, and sustainable growth. By combining community leadership with industry expertise, GEL helps build the foundations needed for stronger economies and thriving Indigenous communities.

Cranberry Junction Wind Project

The Cranberry Junction Wind Project would be in the Nass Area, about 50km north of New Aiyansh, near Highway 37. The project encompasses 52 wind turbines, capable of producing 7 megawatts (MW) each, for a total project size of 364 MW, generating upwards of 1,100 GWh of clean electricity every year.

This is an early-stage project concept, and may change as we collect feedback and move through the BC Hydro bid process.
