The Gingolx Granite Quarry, located just 4 km west of the village, is nearing the end of the design phase and beginning land clearing. This community-led project will develop a high-quality granite resource to support both local construction and international export.

Dimensional Stone
The quarry will produce large granite blocks that are quarried and shaped for use in architectural applications such as building facades, monuments, curbs, and countertops. These high-value products are especially suited for export to markets like China, where demand for natural stone continues to grow.

Aggregate
The operation will also produce crushed granite, known as aggregate, which is essential for construction projects including roads, foundations, and general infrastructure. Locally, this material can be used to support upcoming developments such as new housing subdivisions and marine breakwaters.
